For architects and contractors seeking a complete interior frameless pocket door, without having to source the track, hardware, wall reception piece, floor guide or drywall studs themselves, Insensation offers FP1, a turn-key solution which is both of high acoustic quality and eliminates any installation errors of the pocket on building sites. The architect no longer has to worry about the frameless detailing, as this concept is inherent in all our products.
FP1 accommodates single or double 1/2” sheetrock, to ensure your pocket wall is sturdy and strong. Doors leafs can be provided by us or you. The system works with doors up to 1 5/8” (42 mm). The system is engineered using a metal stud wall thickness of 3 5/8” (92 mm) with a total finished wall width of 5 5/8” (143 mm).
Includes: complete pocket construction which accepts single or double 1/2” sheetrock, heavy-duty sliding door track and wheels with 220 lbs (100 kg) capacity, door suspension, floor guide, wall reception piece, acoustic gaskets, instructions
Advantages: these doors provide a very good acoustic protection compared to other systems, and are aesthetically reduced to a frameless door appearance. The pocket is quickly and perfectly assembled every time due to the pre-engineered components.
FP1 is available in bulk quantities at standard US sizes (7′ and 8′), and on a made-to-measure basis for individual projects.

If you need less than 5 doors, and have a contractor or millworker who can manufacture you the door leafs, we also sell our high-end frames including all the necessary kit, pre-milled technical components, soft-stop and soft-close. Delivery of frames-only takes only approx. 3 weeks.
