Insensation’s use of magnetic lockcases in frameless doors goes way back to 2002 when we implemented the first frameless doors in Switzerland. The lack of a visible strike plate was a novelty at that time. Today, Insensation implements magnetic technology across a wide spectrum of functionality.

Magnetic Lockcases come in several versions for passage, privacy and security locks.

Magnetic Rollers are used to hold closet doors shut, and are recessed into our frames and doors.

Magnetic NoHa (No Handle) is used when clients want absolute minimalism with no levers.

Magnetic Stoppers are sunk into floors and doors to hold them from hitting the walls.

As a Swiss company, Insensation remains on the forefront of technology to support our clients.    After our Estimates are approved, we implement a 48-hour process to get all door orders into production.

Once an order is ready for shipment, Insensation provides our clients with REAL TIME TRACKING as pictured below.  All freight information as well as the global positioning of the freight is pictured in a system which can be queried at any time by our clients. The tracking is currently available for ocean freight from Europe to North America, as well as door hardware shipments from Europe to North America.

BIOMETRIC ENTRANCE DOORS

All Insensation’s Entrance doors are security doors, and come with extreme security options like bullet-proof cores and locks, and high-tech security access systems.

Our Smart Access is a motorised electronic lock purposely designed for use on armoured doors. The opening and closing functions are controlled by a motor and an electronic card with a state-of-the-art microprocessor. Even in the event of a power failure, the door can still be opened using the mechanical key which, thanks to a security system, can disconnect the motor during the activation of the mechanical cylinder. The system is scalable, and can be used as a simple keypad with code access or with extensive, combinable access controls for the inside and outside of the residence such as:

Biometric Fingerprint Scan, Keypad Code, Smartphone access, Smartwatch access, Transponder (fob), Card access

EXPEDITED SHIPPING

In these turbulent times, when all manufacturers are being challenged to deliver on time and with reasonable cost, Insensation has maintained a very high level of service. In addition to our Real-Time Tracking of ocean shipments, we now offer Expedited shipping of our frameless doors.

Expedited shipping involves shipping the Frameless door frames ahead of the actual doors. The production and delivery of the frames is typically achieved in 3-4 weeks. The doors follow several weeks later, which allows the contractor to rapidly advance the wall work on the project.

Keep in mind that Insensation delivers pre-milled, pre-assembled and pre-hung frameless doors as our STANDARD delivery. This will save your contractor thousands of dollars and time on installation. If you choose Expedited Shipping, assembly is required on site, like all other door manufacturers, which is a disadvantage for you. It is best to plan ahead, get the best product on the market, which is our pre-hung series. Beware what some companies call pre-hung..they mean knock-down, which is NOT pre-hung. Insensation doors are fully assembled, individually packaged and placed in secure wooden crates for shipment.

FRAMELESS POCKET DOORS

FRAMELESS POCKET DOORS

For architects and contractors seeking a complete interior frameless pocket door, without having to source the track, hardware, wall reception piece, floor guide or drywall studs themselves, Insensation offers FP1, a turn-key solution which is both of high acoustic quality and eliminates any installation errors of the pocket on building sites. The architect no longer has to worry about the frameless detailing, as this concept is inherent in all our products.

FP1 accommodates single or double 1/2” sheetrock, to ensure your pocket wall is sturdy and strong. Doors leafs can be provided by us or you. The system works with doors up to 1 5/8” (42 mm). The system is engineered using a metal stud wall thickness of 3 5/8” (92 mm) with a total finished wall width of 5 5/8” (143 mm).

Includes: complete pocket construction which accepts single or double 1/2” sheetrock, heavy-duty sliding door track and wheels with 220 lbs (100 kg) capacity, door suspension, floor guide, wall reception piece, acoustic gaskets, instructions

Advantages: these doors provide a very good acoustic protection compared to other systems, and are aesthetically reduced to a frameless door appearance.  The pocket is quickly and perfectly assembled every time due to the pre-engineered components.

FP1 is available in bulk quantities at standard US sizes (7′ and 8′), and on a made-to-measure basis for individual projects.

If you need less than 5 doors, and have a contractor or millworker who can manufacture you the door leafs, we also sell our high-end frames including all the necessary kit, pre-milled technical components, soft-stop and soft-close. Delivery of frames-only takes only approx. 3 weeks.

Designed to provide safety, Insensation Pivot Entrance Doors keep up with the architectural demands of a modern residence. European entrance doors and armored security doors offer a unique alternative to traditional wooden or fiberglass doors. The doors are available in a wide range of wood, glass, cement and metal finishes, are of very high quality and security and have a thickness of 95 mm. The state-of-the-art facility features more than 18,000 square feet of exhibition space as well as a library with more than 5,000 publications of Italian art.
